Discovery & Research

Before a single frame is drawn, we figure out what the video is really for. Most explainer videos fail in the brief, not the animation. They try to say ten things and end up saying nothing.

We read your existing material, look at how competitors explain the same category, and talk through the one decision you want the viewer to make. Then we find the single message most worth animating and build the whole video around it. By the end of discovery you'll have a one-line answer to "what is this video supposed to do," and everything after that serves that line.

What we ask for: any existing pitch material, your website, a sense of who watches and where, and 30 minutes of your time to talk it through. That's usually enough to write a script that lands.

The script is the foundation. If it doesn't read clearly on paper, no amount of polish will rescue it, so we get the words right before we touch the visuals.
